The adventure of A Place Further than the Universe led to several trips by the girls across Japan including the Shinjuku ward of Tokyo. Kabukichō is an entertainment district (a little on the seedy side) located northeast of Shinjuku Station with a variety of restaurants, shops, and tourist spots. The girls go there in Kabukicho Fremantle in order to infiltrate a meeting of Antarctic expeditioners.
